Tech Support for Educators
Tools such as Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) are online classrooms aimed at teaching students and tracking their development in different subjects. There are other Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Chamilo, Dokeos, Blackboard, Sakai and ecollege. However, education epicenter features MOODLE because it is “Open Source” software. Open Source simply means FREE of charge. The idea is to make education and knowledge easier to obtain at a time in history when organized government is cutting the budget for education while increasing spending for prisons.
