The ‘Quick Draft’ box, found in the WordPress dashboard, is for quickly capturing your post ideas and saving them as post drafts for future use. No bells and whistles here–think of it as a note pad for jotting down and managing post ideas.
Enter a ‘Title’ and then begin typing ‘What’s on your mind’. Once you have captured the moment click the ‘Save Draft’ button and the post will be saved for you to refine and publish later.
To access a draft, simply click the ‘Posts’ tab in the sidebar of your dashboard and you will be taken to a list of all of your posts–including ‘Drafts’ made in ‘Quick Draft’. Click the title of the draft you want to access and you will be taken to the post editor where you can add and edit your content, embed media, set a featured image and publish your post.
